Electronic was an English alternative dance supergroup created by Bernard Sumner from New Order and Johnny Marr from the Smiths. Active mainly from 1989 to 1998, they blended elements of rock and electronic music. Their collaboration included contributions from Pet Shop Boys members Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe on several early tracks, as well as input from former Kraftwerk member Karl Bartos in the mid-1990s.
