Emmure is an American metalcore band formed in 2003, originally from New Fairfield, Connecticut and later based in Queens, New York. Known for their intense sound and aggressive style, the band has released eight studio albums, beginning with The Complete Guide to Needlework EP in 2006. Much of their career was spent with Victory Records, releasing albums such as Goodbye to the Gallows and Eternal Enemies, before moving to SharpTone Records for their later work, including Look at Yourself and Hindsight. Fronted by Frankie Palmeri, the only original member, Emmure is recognized for their confrontational energy and Palmeri’s outspoken presence, making them a distinctive act in the metalcore scene.
