Federico Leonardo Lucia, known as Fedez, is an Italian rapper, singer-songwriter, and entrepreneur born in 1989. He first gained attention in 2011 with the digital releases Penisola che non c'è and Il mio primo disco da venduto. His 2013 debut studio album, Sig. Brainwash L'arte di accontentare, entered at number one in Italy and featured hits like "Cigno nero" with Francesca Michielin. Fedez has since achieved five chart-topping albums, over thirty top ten singles, and more than fifty Platinum certifications, making him one of Italy's most successful contemporary artists.
