Feeder is a Welsh rock band formed in 1994, known for their powerful melodic sound and longevity in the UK music scene. Emerging from the Britpop era, the band has achieved 20 UK Top 40 singles and 13 UK Top 40 albums over a career spanning three decades. Fronted by Grant Nicholas, with long-term bassist Taka Hirose joining in 1994, Feeder broke through with their platinum-selling single Buck Rogers and the album Echo Park in 2001. Despite the tragic loss of original drummer Jon Lee in 2002, Feeder continued to release acclaimed albums, including Comfort in Sound and more recently Tallulah, Torpedo, and the double album Black Red. Renowned for their energetic live performances and resilience, the band was honored with two Kerrang Awards and inducted into the Kerrang Hall of Fame in 2019. Feeder remains one of the most enduring acts to have originated from the UK Britpop movement.
