Leslie Feist, known as Feist, is a Canadian indie pop singer-songwriter and guitarist. In addition to her solo work, she is also a member of the indie rock collective Broken Social Scene. Feist began her solo career in 1999 with the album Monarch and gained widespread acclaim with Let It Die and The Reminder, the latter earning multiple Grammy nominations and significant commercial success. Over her career, Feist has received numerous accolades, including 11 Juno Awards. She is known for her distinctive voice, thoughtful songwriting, and collaborations across genres, including work with the metal band Mastodon.
