The Fratellis are a Scottish rock band from Glasgow, formed in 2005. Featuring Jon Fratelli on vocals and guitar, Barry Fratelli on bass, and Mince Fratelli on drums, the band quickly made a name for themselves with their debut album Costello Music in 2006. The album reached number two on the UK Albums Chart, stayed in the Top 100 for eighty-three weeks, and produced popular singles like Chelsea Dagger and Whistle for the Choir, both top ten UK hits. Costello Music earned them a BRIT Award for Best British Breakthrough Act in 2007 and sold over a million copies in the UK. After their second album Here We Stand and a brief hiatus, the band returned with We Need Medicine in 2013, though it did not match their initial success. Later albums including Eyes Wide Tongue Tied, In Your Own Sweet Time, and Half Drunk Under a Full Moon saw the band return to the top five in the Scottish charts, confirming their enduring appeal at home.
