Gretsch G9450 Dixie 5 String Open Back Banjo

Open-back 5-string banjo from Gretsch Roots Collection series that delivers an authentic tone and appointments and is styled after the innovative models of the early 20th century, exuding undeniably Gretsch vibe and attitude. It features a mahogany rim with 18 brackets, rolled brass tone ring with steel tension hoop and an 11” Remo Renaissance head. The mahogany, vintage “U”-shaped neck is fitted with rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and dot inlays. Scale length is 699 mm, nut width is 30 mm. The instrument also features an armrest, maple/ebony bridge, plastic nut fret and hex truss rod nut, 1950’s Gretsch 2x2 headstock, Grover Sta-Tite die-cast machine heads and geared fifth string tuner, dual coordinating rods, ''no-knot''-style tailpiece and D’Addario J61 Nickel strings (gauges: .010-.023).
