The TMB505 features an asymmetric double-cutaway okoume body bolted to a roasted maple neck with a 20-fret roasted maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include a pair of Nordstrand CND passive pickups mounted in a white pearloid pickguard with a Precision pickup at the neck and a Jazz pickup at the bridge, an Ibanez custom preamp with a two-band EQ, a B15W bridge with 18mm string spacing, a plastic nut and Ibanez open tuning machines.
