Jimi Jamison (August 23, 1951 – September 1, 2014) was an American rock singer best known as the lead vocalist for Survivor, where he contributed to hits like Burning Heart from Rocky IV, The Moment of Truth from The Karate Kid, I Can't Hold Back, High On You, The Search Is Over, and Is This Love. He also fronted the bands Target and Cobra and is recognized for co-writing and performing Baywatch's theme song I'm Always Here. Jamison was widely acclaimed for his powerful and distinctive voice.
