Kabát is a Czech hard rock band from Teplice, established in 1983. The group features Josef Vojtek on vocals, Milan Špalek on bass, Tomáš Krulich and Ota Váňa on guitars, and Radek Hurčík on drums. Well known for their energetic style and memorable live shows, Kabát has been a leading force in Czech rock since the late 1980s. They represented the Czech Republic in their first Eurovision Song Contest appearance in 2007 and have collected numerous awards, including twelve Český slavík wins and multiple Anděl Awards. In 2014, they were inducted into the Beatová síň slávy, affirming their place among the most successful rock bands in Czech music history.
