Kid Rock
Kid Rock
Kid Rock, born Robert James Ritchie in 1971, is an American musician known for his eclectic blend of hip-hop, rock, and country influences. Rising out of Detroit’s hip-hop scene, he achieved major success with a rap rock style on his 1998 breakthrough album Devil Without a Cause, which sold 14 million copies. He later shifted toward country rock, especially from his 2007 album Rock n Roll Jesus onward. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, Kid Rock has overseen nearly all his own production. Notable hits include Cowboy, Picture, and All Summer Long. Known for his outspoken political views, he is a prominent supporter of the U.S. Republican Party.
