Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, better known as Logic, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer from Gaithersburg, Maryland. He began his career with the 2009 mixtape Psychological and gained recognition with his Young Sinatra series, eventually signing with Def Jam Recordings. Logic’s first two albums, Under Pressure and The Incredible True Story, both reached the top five on the Billboard 200 and achieved platinum status. He achieved mainstream success with his third album Everybody in 2017, which debuted at number one and featured the hit single 1-800-273-8255. Subsequent albums like YSIV and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind continued his commercial success. After briefly retiring following No Pressure in 2020, Logic returned with new music, releasing Vinyl Days in 2022 as his final Def Jam project and later moving to independent releases with College Park and Ultra 85. Outside music, Logic is a published author, with his novel Supermarket becoming a New York Times Best Seller, and he is also known for being the first musician signed exclusively as a streamer with Twitch. He has earned two Grammy nominations during his career.
