The first ukulele I ever bought. A gift for a guitarist. I was concerned about the manufacturer's reputation. I said, if it's not good, I'll return it. But when he came I relaxed. I have no complaints about this model. It may not be high-end (I don't know how it would look and sound), but there are no obvious flaws and I got more than I expected for the price! The materials are good. Finish, joints and details are good. Thresholds are not sharp, tuners are better than I expected, etc. However...I wasn't impressed with the sound until I removed the Aquila nylgut strings and installed D'Addario fluorocarbon strings (and with a low g string). Only then did the instrument come alive! I know how big the difference can be between bad and good guitar strings, but this is something completely different. The difference in resonance is incredible! With those strings, it's as if the instrument has turned into a completely different one - both better quality and significantly bigger. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to connect it to the amplifier.
