Electro-acoustic guitar with Grand Performance body shape with cutaway that is one of Martin’s most affordable Performing Artist Models and great for gigging or practicing at home. It features a top of solid Sitka spruce and back and sides of mahogany-patterned HPL, and Fishman F1 Analog electronics to help it sing onstage. The body features a Mortise & Tenon neck joint construction and “X”-style scalloped bracing pattern made of Sitka spruce wood. Neck is made of black birch laminate with Martin’s “Performing Artist” shape and high-performance taper. Jett Black high pressure laminate (HPL) headstock offers a solid shape with square taper and square corners and script ink logo. The neck is fitted with a FSC Certified Richlite fingerboard with 20 frets and white plastic “Style 38” inlays. Scale length is 645.16 mm, nut width is 44.45 mm. The guitar is equipped with Fishman Sonitone electronics and has the look and sound of a highly collectible Martin, but goes for a price that anyone can afford. Other features include a multi-stripe ink rosette, black Corian nut fret, a Performing Artist Belly bridge (drop in saddle) made of FSC Certified Richlite with compensated black tusq saddle and black plastic bridge pins, chrome enclosed gear tuning machines and a faux tortoise pickguard.
