Sidney Matthew Sweet, born October 6, 1964, is an American singer-songwriter and musician known for his blend of alternative rock and power pop. Emerging from the 1980s Athens, Georgia music scene, he achieved solo success in the 1990s. His more recent releases include the companion albums Tomorrow Forever and Tomorrow's Daughter, as well as Wicked System of Things and Catspaw, marking his 15th studio album.
