Merch Flags and Posters

Music flags and posters include fabric posters featuring album and band artwork for the wall of your room, rehearsal space or garage, as well as decorative car number plate-style signs. Most designs come from metal and hard rock: Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Motörhead, Black Sabbath, Slayer or Sleep Token. You can fold a fabric poster into a box or suitcase and hang it without a frame. It works as a fan's room decoration or a birthday gift.

Fabric poster or number plate-style sign?

A fabric poster is a printed polyester cloth, often measuring 106 × 70 cm, so it covers a large part of the wall above a bed or desk. The design is usually an album cover or band mascot, such as Iron Maiden's Eddie as he appears on Killers, Powerslave or Somewhere in Time. You can attach it with drawing pins, adhesive hooks or clips on a cord.

A car number plate-style sign displays an album or song title instead of a registration number, such as Highway to Hell by AC/DC, Peace Sells by Megadeth or Painkiller by Judas Priest. It fits where there is no room for a large poster: on a door, above a workbench or in a workshop.

Which music poster design should you choose for a metal fan?

Choose a design from the era the recipient listens to. A thrash metal fan will recognise Metallica through the covers of Kill 'Em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets and ...And Justice for All; for classic heavy metal, choose Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath or Motörhead. The newer scene is represented by Gojira with Fortitude, Slipknot with the band members' masks and Sleep Token. If you do not know which album the recipient likes, choose a band logo, which you can find on both posters and signs.

If you are putting together a larger gift, add a T-shirt, cap or blanket featuring the recipient's favourite band from the music merchandise selection.
