Mobb Deep was a hip hop duo from Queens, New York, formed in 1990 by Prodigy and Havoc. Known for their gritty style and hard-hitting lyrics, they played a key role in shaping hardcore East Coast hip hop. Their most acclaimed albums include The Infamous, Hell on Earth, and Murda Muzik, featuring iconic tracks like Shook Ones Part II and Survival of the Fittest. After briefly disbanding in 2012, they reunited the next year. Prodigy passed away in 2017.
