Trailer Strings is an extensive string library designed for film composers seeking a powerful and aggressive string sound. It features a 60-piece string ensemble consisting of 18 violins, 16 violas, 14 cellos, and 12 double basses. All instruments were recorded separately in the same concert hall as Trailer Brass, ensuring a unified and rich sonic experience.

This library offers a wide range of short and long articulations specially crafted for grand and exaggerated productions. It includes three dynamic layers from fortississimo to piano, with delicate spiccato, soft staccato, and smooth marcato. Sustains are available in six dynamic levels, with the two softest recorded sul tasto for a whispery and gentle tone.

For fast and pompous string lines, the "Adventure" patch is available for all four sections. Simply load the bass/cello Adventure patches, set the bass an octave lower, and play both tracks to achieve the desired effect.

Additionally, the library includes three effect sections in the basses and cellos:

• Snap and Grunt: an arsenal of atonal pizzicatos, staccato chugs, and scrapes.
• The Brooding: soft, low-frequency aleatoric sounds perfect for dramatic scenes.
• Behind the Bridge! tremolos for intense and suspenseful moments.

Trailer Strings is compatible with the full version of Kontakt 5.5.1 or higher and is delivered in 48 kHz / 24-bit quality. Note that it is not compatible with the free Kontakt Player.
