New Model Army is an English rock band formed in Bradford, West Yorkshire in 1980. Founded by Justin Sullivan, the group is known for its ever-evolving lineup, with Sullivan remaining the only constant member. Their music spans across genres, drawing influences from punk, folk, metal, soul, and even classical, making them difficult to categorize. Sullivan’s powerful and thought-provoking lyrics, touching on political, spiritual, and personal themes, are central to the band's identity. Despite frequent changes in personnel, New Model Army has maintained a dedicated following over four decades and, as of 2024, features Sullivan alongside Dean White, Michael Dean, and Ceri Monger.
