Oliver Tree Nickell is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, and filmmaker from Santa Cruz, California. He rose to fame in 2017 when his song "When I'm Down" went viral, leading to a deal with Atlantic Records. Known for his eccentric style and genre-blending music, Oliver Tree released his debut album Ugly Is Beautiful in 2020. He gained further international attention with the hits "Life Goes On" and "Miss You" and has since released two more albums, Cowboy Tears in 2022 and Alone in a Crowd in 2023.
