OneRepublic is an American pop rock band from Colorado Springs, Colorado, formed in 2002. The group features Ryan Tedder on vocals and piano, Zach Filkins on guitar and viola, Drew Brown on guitar, Brent Kutzle on bass and cello, Eddie Fisher on drums, and Brian Willett on keyboards, percussion, and violin. Gaining early attention on Myspace, they signed with Velvet Hammer before later joining Mosley Music Group, where they released their debut album Dreaming Out Loud in 2007. The album’s lead single Apologize became a global hit after being remixed by Timbaland, reaching number one in multiple countries and earning a Grammy nomination. Known for their melodic, radio-friendly sound, OneRepublic followed up with Platinum-certified albums and major singles such as Stop and Stare, Good Life, and Counting Stars. Their 2013 album Native reached the top five in several countries, while Counting Stars became one of their biggest hits worldwide. The band continued to evolve their style with later releases, including Oh My My in 2016 and Human in 2021. As of 2024, they have released their sixth studio album Artificial Paradise and have sold over 16 million records globally.
