Panic at the Disco was an American pop rock band founded in 2004 by high school friends in Las Vegas. The group achieved mainstream success with their 2005 debut album A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, featuring the hit single I Write Sins Not Tragedies. Over the years, the lineup changed frequently, with Brendon Urie eventually becoming the sole permanent member by 2015. The band shifted styles throughout their career, experimenting with different sounds on albums like Pretty Odd and Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die. Known for their theatrical performances and genre-blending music, Panic at the Disco released seven studio albums before disbanding in 2023 after the Viva Las Vengeance tour.
