Ratt was an American glam metal band known for their major commercial success in the 1980s, with multiple albums achieving gold and platinum status. Best recognized for their hit singles "Round and Round" and "Lay It Down", Ratt helped define the early Los Angeles glam metal scene alongside bands like Mötley Crüe. Their energetic style and catchy songs made them a staple of 80s rock, and although the group underwent many lineup changes and breaks, they continued to tour and record through 2021. Their final studio album, Infestation, was released in 2010.
