Robert Plant

Robert Plant, born in 1948 in England’s West Midlands, is best known as the dynamic lead singer and lyricist of Led Zeppelin, one of rock music’s most influential bands from 1968 to 1980. Celebrated for his powerful voice and charismatic stage presence, Plant helped define the sound and spirit of classic rock alongside legends like Mick Jagger and Jim Morrison. After Led Zeppelin’s breakup, Plant launched a successful solo career, releasing acclaimed albums such as Pictures at Eleven, The Principle of Moments, and the multi-platinum Now and Zen. He achieved further success with projects like The Honeydrippers, collaborations with Jimmy Page, and a Grammy-winning partnership with Alison Krauss on the album Raising Sand. Plant has been recognized as one of rock’s greatest vocalists by outlets including Rolling Stone and Billboard, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Led Zeppelin in 1995. His ability to evolve as an artist has kept his music vital, both as a solo performer and through collaborations with artists across genres.
