Seether is a South African rock band formed in 1999 in Pretoria. Originally called Saron Gas, they changed their name after relocating to the United States in 2002. The group is led by vocalist and guitarist Shaun Morgan, with longtime members Dale Stewart on bass and John Humphrey on drums. Corey Lowery joined as a second guitarist in 2018. Known for hits like Fine Again, Broken, Remedy, and Fake It, Seether has blended post-grunge and alternative metal elements, achieving multiple chart-topping singles. They have released nine studio albums, with The Surface Seems So Far arriving in 2024.
