Sela SE 126 Drum Brushes
SELA Straw Brushes are an exciting combination of classic jazz brushes and rods, because they lie sonically exactly between both worlds. The bundled sticks of SELA Straw Brushes are made of European sorghum millet, which when played on a cajon, hi-hat or snare drum produces less attack than the wooden sticks of rods, but significantly more volume than the fine wires of a jazz brush. SELA Straw Brushes elicit completely new sound facets from a drum kit or percussion instrument and therefore belong in every well-stocked accessory bag. They are just as suitable for unplugged shows as they are for recording sessions in the studio.
In addition, SELA Straw Brushes offer a pleasantly light playing feel due to their balanced weight distribution. Thanks to the special handle with Pro Grip rubber coating, they always fit securely in the hand - whether on the drums or when playing on a Cajon. SELA Straw Brushes are made in Germany and have a high-quality finish. They have a total length of 36 centimeters, a diameter of about two and a half centimeters and are a great eye-catcher with their bright yellow handles.
Brush Material: Wood
Wooden brushes create a warm, punchy sound with more definition than traditional brushes. They combine some rebound of sticks with the subtlety of brushes, ideal for unplugged or acoustic sets. Wooden brushes provide a natural tone and interesting dynamic response.
Grip Material: Rubber
Rods are made of rubber, providing a soft grip and good shock absorption. They are comfortable to hold and reduce hand fatigue during long sessions.
