Silverstein is a post-hardcore band from Burlington, Ontario, Canada, formed in 2000. Their name honors children's author Shel Silverstein, whose work inspired the members. Known for energetic and emotionally charged music, Silverstein has released eleven studio albums, including the Juno-nominated Discovering the Waterfront, as well as multiple EPs and a live DVD. Over the years, the lineup has seen a few changes, with Shane Told continuing as lead vocalist. After working with several record labels, Silverstein is currently signed to UNFD. Their recent albums include A Beautiful Place to Drown and Misery Made Me. The band has sold over one million albums worldwide and remains a prominent force in the post-hardcore scene.
