Ska-P is a Spanish ska punk band formed in 1994 in the Madrid district of Vallecas by friends from Madrid, Navarre, and the Basque Country. Known for their energetic sound and politically charged, anti-establishment lyrics, Ska-P often address social and political issues, earning a reputation as an outspoken group with anarchist and leftist leanings. Their music features lively arrangements and a prominent brass section, adding to their distinctive style. After a break in 2005, marked by a sold-out farewell concert in Spain and a global tour, the band reunited in 2007, releasing new music and resuming international performances, including their first tour in Japan.
