Slash, born Saul Hudson on July 23, 1965, is a British-American musician renowned as the lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses. Rising to fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s, he contributed iconic riffs and solos on hits like Sweet Child o' Mine and November Rain. Born in London and raised in Los Angeles, he began his career with Hollywood Rose before joining Guns N' Roses in 1985.
After leaving Guns N' Roses in 1996, Slash formed Slash's Snakepit and later co-founded the supergroup Velvet Revolver. He has also released several solo albums, often collaborating with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, and returned to Guns N' Roses in 2016.
Consistently ranked among the world's greatest guitarists, Slash's work has earned critical acclaim and numerous accolades. In 2012, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Guns N' Roses.
