The CXA044 has four direct XLR-M outputs and four isolated XLR-M outputs. The box has an RJ45 network connector and an earthing switch. Using a network cable instead of a four-way audio cable, you can transmit four channels of audio signals by simply connecting a shielded Cat5 Ethernet cable between the two transmission boxes, providing phantom power for the microphone via the direct output. Cat5 Ethernet cable transmission is widely applicable, lightweight and economical, saving costs and greatly simplifying wiring.
