Spitfire Audio Orchestral Swarm offers a revolutionary approach to orchestral textures by moving beyond traditional long notes. Instead, it harnesses the pointillistic effect where multiple players perform short notes at random intervals, creating an undulating swell of sound performed in real time. This innovative technique provides a dynamic, fluid, and organic sonic experience, perfect for cinematic and expansive musical landscapes.

Developed in collaboration with Bleeding Fingers, known for their work on BBC's Planet Earth II and Roman Empire: Reign of Blood, and featured on the BBC's Blue Planet II as well as Hans Zimmer and Radiohead's (ocean) bloom, Orchestral Swarm was recorded at the prestigious British Grove Studios, capturing the rich and detailed tones of orchestral instruments.

This unique library offers seven distinct orchestral sections:

• Strings High
• Strings Low
• Woods High
• Woods Low
• Horns
• Bones and Tubas
• Brass

Each section features 64 articulations, including various swarms, pizzicato, spiccato, and whisper effects, allowing composers to sculpt intricate textures and evolving soundscapes.

Users can select from six microphone positions—Close, Tree, Outriggers, Stereo, R88 Ribbon, and Mid Room—to customize the spatial character of the sound.
