Superlux D10B Instrument Dynamic Microphone
Dynamic instrument microphone with supercardioid polar pattern that provides balanced and clean original sound reproduction and is ideal for recording of classical guitars, amplifiers, stringed instruments and wind instruments. It exhibits wide and flat frequency response that capture sound naturally, and with its high SPL ability, it works well with very loud sound sources. The supercardioid polar pattern effectively rejects off-axis sound such as stage monitors, and neighbourhood sound sources to prevent crosstalk and feedback. A fine-tuned shock mount within the microphone also greatly reduced mechanical vibration and stage noises, while the anti-bucking coil rejects power line interference. The microphone features a metal structure with scratch-resist coating and comes supplied with a clip, shock mount, drum clamp and carrying pouch. Frequency response: 50 Hz-18 kHz. Impedance: 200 ohm. Sensitivity: -54 dB/V. Maximum SPL (Sound Pressure Level): 135 dB. Dimensions: 42.5 x 144.0 mm. Weight: 220 g.
Frequency Range: 50 Hz - 18 kHz
The frequency response 50 Hz - 18 kHz provides a wide enough range to capture all the fine musical and sonic details.
Polar Pattern: Supercardioid
A supercardioid directional microphone is even more directional than a classic cardioid microphone. This type of microphone is designed to be highly sensitive to sounds coming from the front, while picking up slightly more sounds from the back than a cardioid microphone. This allows it to better isolate the main sound source and minimize ambient noise.
