Although the Thorens TD 402 turntable may seem like a basic model, thanks to the use of the top technologies of the much more expensive models from Thorens, it is a really nice piece for everyone with very simple operation and excellent sound. The new Thorens TP 72 tone arm consists of a carbon tube pre-installed with the AT VM95 E cartridge, which is mounted on a removable headshell. In addition, if you would like to use a higher quality preamplifier, you can turn off the built-in preamplifier. Turntable also comes with an adapter and an acrylic cover.
