Training Pads
Practice pads and practice kits are designed for quieter work on rhythm, stick technique, and endurance. They are useful at home, in school, or in the rehearsal room when you do not want to set up a full drum kit every time. When choosing, consider the size, playing rebound, noise level, and whether you need a single pad or a more compact practice setup.
When to choose a pad and when to choose a kit
- A single practice pad is the simplest option for daily hand practice and basic rudiments.
- A multi-piece practice kit makes more sense if you need to practise moving around the kit and working on coordination.
- A model with a stand is more comfortable for regular practice, while a smaller pad is easy to take in a backpack.
