Transatlantic was a progressive rock supergroup formed in 1999, bringing together Neal Morse, Roine Stolt, Pete Trewavas, and Mike Portnoy from some of the most influential bands in the genre. Originally started as a side project, the band became known for their epic compositions and dynamic live performances. Daniel Gildenlöw frequently appeared as a live guest, while Ted Leonard joined on tour in 2014 and 2022. The group disbanded in 2002, reunited in 2009, and ended their run again in 2022.
