Tremolo Saddles

Tremolo Saddles are the small metal parts of the bridge that support each string and let you adjust its intonation. When they become worn or damaged, you don't need to replace the whole tremolo: a new set or a single saddle is enough. Here you'll find genuine Floyd Rose saddles for the Original, 1000 Series, 1000 Series Pro, Special, FRX and Rail Tail ranges, with sets for 6 and 7 strings as well as individual saddles. There's also a replacement Schaller saddle for LockMeister 6 and Schaller Tremolo.

Which Tremolo Saddles fit your guitar?

Choose your saddles to match the tremolo series fitted to your guitar. You can identify the series from the guitar manufacturer's specifications.

• Original: for Floyd Rose Original, made in Germany, with sets for 6 strings and fretboard radii of 10″, 12″, 14″, 16″ and 17″, as well as sets for 7 strings.
• 1000 Series: for the 1000 series, made from hardened steel and also suitable for upgrading the Special series.
• 1000 Series Pro: for the Korean wide version of the 1000 Series Pro range, made from hardened steel, with sets for 6 and 7 strings.
• Special: for the Special series, made from zinc alloy, with sets for 6 and 7 strings.
• FRX: for the FRX tremolo, a set of 6 steel saddles.
• Rail Tail: brass roller saddles, with a narrow version for 52 mm string spacing and a wide version for 56 mm.
• By Floyd Rose: the FR3BSSB set fits only tremolos with the Floyd Rose logo on the base plate.

A complete set or a single saddle?

A set contains 6 or 7 saddles and makes sense when several saddles are worn at the same time or when you want to change the finish of your hardware. You can replace a single damaged saddle on its own. Saddle height varies according to the string, so Floyd Rose makes individual saddles for the G and D string pair, the B and A string pair, and the E strings. The Schaller saddle is designed for the E or e string position and has the same height for radii of 10″, 12″, 14″ and 16″.

Which radius and finish should you choose?

Floyd Rose Original sets come in different radii, which should match your guitar's fretboard. Choose a finish to match the rest of your hardware: chrome, nickel, black, black nickel and gold, with satin and antique finishes also offered for some series.
