Lector is a powerful 100-band stereo vocoder delivering exceptional intelligibility for robot voices, whispering strings, and creative effects, ideal for producers and sound designers enhancing vocals or soundtracks.

Its core features a 3-100 band analysis/synthesis filter bank with adjustable attack/decay envelope followers, modulated by signal intensity. The 16-voice synthesizer (sine, triangle, sawtooth, pulse, S&H, noise, samples) or external source provides the carrier signal, enriched by FM, ring modulation, portamento, and a multimode filter (12/24dB LP/BP/HP/Notch/Whitening). Effects include tube/diode/clip overdrive, 3-band EQ, 2-6 stage chorus/flanger, syncable delay, and reverb.

Lector’s versatility transforms any signal into novel sounds like talking drums or resonant bells, with applications from vocal harmonies to film audio. Native 64-bit, it supports VST2/3, AU, AAX on Windows 7+ and macOS 10.13+ (Intel/M1), ensuring seamless integration and detailed sound sculpting.
