Engineers discovered that using the encoding stage without decoding the signal gives recordings a luxurious, airy sheen. The plugin is modelled on a custom-modified unit from the studio of a Swedish songwriter and brings that sound into a modern workflow without the vintage-hardware ritual.

Limited Controls, Plenty of Character

Turn up DRIVE to find the right amount of sheen, use MIX to tuck the effect in or bring it forward, and engage MOD for an alternative flavour with richer harmonics and added glue that can replace much of a vocal chain. Beyond vocals, it adds shimmer to acoustic guitars, sheen to overheads, glow around synths and air on the mix bus.
