NRG KDSBK Drumsticks
The NRG KDSBK drumsticks are made for beginners and young drummers who are still learning how to hold a stick properly. Each stick has a moulded ring just above the grip: the index finger slips through the 23.5 mm opening and the stick stays in the hand instead of flying across the room. The ring also places the hand at the natural balance point, so the correct grip becomes a habit from the very first lesson rather than something to unlearn later. The body is ABS plastic instead of wood, so a missed stroke that lands on the rim will not splinter or crack it. The dimensions follow the standard 5A specification, 40.6 cm long with a 13 mm shaft, which means the feel is the same as a regular pair and moving on to ordinary sticks later takes no adjustment. The plastic tip gives a bright, clear attack on an acoustic kit as well as on a practice pad. They are light enough for children's hands and tough enough for daily practice, and the black finish keeps them easy to find in a bag.
- Finger ring with a 23.5 mm opening — guides the correct grip and stops the stick slipping out
- ABS plastic body — will not splinter like wood when a beginner catches the rim
- Standard 5A dimensions: 40.6 cm length, 13 mm shaft diameter
- Plastic tip for a bright sound on a drum kit or a practice pad
Drumsticks with a finger ring for beginners and children
The first weeks behind a drum kit are mostly about the hands. Gripping the stick too tightly, too loosely or in the wrong place makes everything that follows harder, and dropped sticks break a child's concentration fastest of all. The NRG KDSBK pair solves this with a ring moulded into the shaft: the index finger goes through the 23.5 mm opening and the stick settles at its natural pivot point on its own. It cannot fly out of the hand during a fast stroke, so the grip can stay relaxed and the player concentrates on the rhythm instead of on holding on. The ABS plastic body is a deliberate choice over wood, because the rim shots and stray strokes that are unavoidable at the beginning do not splinter it and a single pair survives months of practice. Since the dimensions follow the standard 5A format, the step up to conventional sticks later on is seamless.
