NRG KDSBK Drumsticks

The NRG KDSBK drumsticks are made for beginners and young drummers who are still learning how to hold a stick properly. Each stick has a moulded ring just above the grip: the index finger slips through the 23.5 mm opening and the stick stays in the hand instead of flying across the room. The ring also places the hand at the natural balance point, so the correct grip becomes a habit from the very first lesson rather than something to unlearn later. The body is ABS plastic instead of wood, so a missed stroke that lands on the rim will not splinter or crack it. The dimensions follow the standard 5A specification, 40.6 cm long with a 13 mm shaft, which means the feel is the same as a regular pair and moving on to ordinary sticks later takes no adjustment. The plastic tip gives a bright, clear attack on an acoustic kit as well as on a practice pad. They are light enough for children's hands and tough enough for daily practice, and the black finish keeps them easy to find in a bag.
