Noise Reducer is an effect that reduces unwanted noise and interference in the signal without significantly affecting the original sound. Unlike a Noise Gate, it doesn't completely mute the sound at lower levels but instead smoothly adjusts the noise floor. It is used to clean up the signal when using multiple effects, high gain, or in electrically noisy environments.
