Electric bass guitar from SR series that offers a combination of a smooth, fast neck, lightweight body and perfectly matched electronics. It is priced like a beginner's instrument, but it has features that make it anything but a cut-rate starter axe. Its mahogany body features smooth rounded edges and a deep, lower cutaway for better access to the upper frets. The 5-piece SR4 maple/rosewood neck is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays and 24 medium frets. Scale length is 864 mm, nut width is 38 mm. The bass guitar is equipped with two CAP EXF-N2 passive, Ibanez-designed pickups. The top one is arched to mirror the radius of the fingerboard, which positions each string equally distant from the pickup resulting in a more linear, balanced output. Equalization chores are handled by Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ that allows the control to be more effective in creating useful, popular bass tones. Other features include an Accu-cast B120 bridge and black hardware. Weathered Black colour design.
