Of course, to get the optimum satisfaction I had to change the strings and here the choice fell on Thomastik Vision 100. I did without a luthier. I reduced the height of the strings over the fretboard myself by lowering the stand and deepening the grooves in the fret. The result exceeded my expectations. The action of the strings is sensational. Super low. The sound enchanted me when I recorded myself with a recorder with professional parameters. I made recordings with various microphones. So in order to judge the instrument honestly it is better to listen to the details. I personally recommend it. I am happy with the purchase. I also had to purchase the correct rosin. The one included was out of date. The bow is flawless. I recommend the violin for initial practice. Too bad the fingerboard is not made of ebony.
