Ultra-lightweight rope-tuned 8” djembe from Travel series with patented synthetic construction that makes it a great drum for everyone from professional musicians to recreational players. It is 20% lighter than fiberglass djembes and can be easily carried around. The instrument features a hand selected goat skin head with diameter of 10” that produce the traditional slaps and warm bass tones found in traditional African music and provides an authentic feel. It is equipped with a 4 mm thick pre-stretched HTP nylon rope with 25 runners that holds the tuning in place, and non-slip rubber bottom that protects the drum from scratches. Height: 406.4 mm.
