I chose this bass blindly, according to photos and reviews. Today I wouldn't do it that way, because in my opinion the bass has to fit the person right away and most importantly it has to be well/reasonably tuned from the factory, which in my case it wasn't. The problem was that there is a sort of wave on the neck, so even after the frets were adjusted and sanded by a pro, they rattled more than they should in some positions. The stones have play, sometimes something resonates that shouldn't. I've also had to get used to a different "natural" position of the bass on my body - it tends to curl a bit more to the right, but that's not a flaw. Otherwise, it is very well made, and has excellent sound (pickups). I've had the battery in there for half a year now, and so far it's held up. For the money, it's a good bass.
